The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is in the heart of downtown Ottawa, on Rideau Street next door to the Ottawa Parliament Buildings, overlooking the Rideau Canal. It is one of Ottawa's landmarks, as are so many of the Fairmont Hotels. Wilfred's restaurant is renowed in the city both for its views over Parliament Hill and its food much of which is locally sourced. Try and be there for Sunday Brunch!
Rooms
Fairmont room have either a king, queen or two twin beds. Approximately 400 sq feet, they can been anywhere in the hotel. There is a supplement payable for rooms with a view over the Parliament buildngs and the canal.
Fairmont Gold rooms have upgraded facilities and include breakfast in the Fairmont Gold lounge included as well as hors d'oeuvres and a honour bar in the evening. The best of the "hotel within a hotel" concept.
