Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is found right on the famous lake, overlooking the Victoria Glacier in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. It is a traditional Fairmont hotel known as the 'Diamond in the Wilderness', with a wide choice of restaurants and room types, swimming pools and excellent health club and spa. It is well worth the extra cost of the lakeview rooms as the view over Lake Louise can only be described as stunning. The first chalet was built in 1890 for 'Outdoor enthusiasts and alpinists' and the hotel offers guides to lead you on gentle walks, energetic hikes and even mountain climbing.
Rooms
We recommend the stunning lakeview rooms.
Fairmont Lakeview Room - the charming Fairmont Lakeview Rooms are enriched by alpine decor that recalls a colorful history. Designed with two people in mind, they include all the modern essentials. The maximum occupancy of these rooms is four, depending upon bed type, but Two is ideal.
Deluxe Lakeview Room - Similar to the Fairmont with the added touch - majestic vistas frame each window. Welcome to accommodations where 19th-century styling graces every furnishing. It's pure pleasure without the pretense. Perfect for families, executive travelers and guests seeking additional living space. The maximum occupancy for these rooms is four, depending upon bed type.
Why we like it
Guaranteed Fairmont comfort with an iconic setting. A great place in the Canadian Rockies to access all the activities that the area has to offer.
