Located on the north shore of Rice lake in the Kawartha countryside, Elmhirst Resort is a family run business spread over 240 acres with year-round activities to offer. Comprising of 30 cottages situated along the property's own mile of shoreline, you have islands and beautiful lake views right outside your door. Complete with decks, docks and fireplaces, these cottages provide the perfect way to relax. For the more adventurous there are many outdoor activities to enjoy, such as horseback riding, kayaking, sightseeing flights and a spa. The resort runs with a commitment to homegrown, with gardens of herbs and vegetables stocking their restaurant and pub; they even have their own Black Angus beef. Rooms

There are 30 cottages situated along the shoreline, ranging from one to five bedrooms. Each comes with its own private dock and deck, as well as full kitchen, whirlpool tub, and a fireplace in the living area.
