April Point, on Quadra Island, is a 10 minute water taxi from Painters Lodge or a 10 minute drive from the ferry from Campbell River. The resort offers an ideal mix of adventure and relaxation for couples, families, and groups of all ages. World-renowned for it's salmon fishing, pristine natural scenery and a wealth of outdoor recreation . As well as the fishing, you can kayak from the dock, play giant chess and use the tennis court and swimming pool of the Painters Lodge Resort. April Point has a particularly good restaurant, sushi bar and full service Aveda spa. There is an excellent marine wildlife tour by Zodiac boat, fishing, mountain biking, diving, whale watching and kayaking. Opens seasonal spring to late October.

April Point Resort offers everything from simple hotel rooms and honeymoon cabins to fully furnished 4 bedroom vacation homes, all boasting beautiful ocean views. The resort's luxury suites are perfect for small gatherings, cabins nestled in the trees are an ideal place for a romantic getaway, while families will find the fully furnished cabins perfect for a fun-filled holiday. Select rooms are available with sofa beds, sitting areas, and jetted tubs. The houses come in a variety of configurations including fireplaces, living rooms and hot tubs and can sleep up to ten people.
