You will have time to enjoy both Victoria, British Columbia's capital and the joy that is Tofino on the west coast. With its crashing surf, calm bays, rainforest and wildlife - Tofino will be a true highlight of your holiday.

Arrive into Vancouver International airport and make your own way downtown. Spend the next 2 nights exploring this fantastic city; be sure to see Gastown, Stanley Park and Granville Island.
2 nights in Vancouver.
Collect your car in downtown Vancouver and drive south to Tsawwassen to catch
the 95 minute ferry as it cruises through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From there is it a 30 minute drive in Victoria. On the way in, you could visit the world famous Butchart Gardens.
2 nights in Victoria.
Take a 3-hour whale watching tour to see the orca and other marine life before lunch at one of the excellent restaurants around the Inner Harbour. Spend the afternoon exploring Victoria on foot perhaps visiting the Royal British Columbia Museum with its innovative displays of First Nation and early Canadian artefacts.
Today you will have a 4-hour drive through Chemainus, known for its murals, Duncan, city of totems, Cathedral Grove where you must stop for a short walk amongst the towering first-growth Douglas Firs and across the mountains to Tofino, a delightful fishing village, on the west coast.
3 nights in Tofino.
Two days to enjoy whale-watching (grey and humpback whales) as well as sea lions and bald eagles, a visit to the Hot Springs and bear watching, some world class surfing, a walk along the boardwalks in the rain forest or along the wonderful beaches and explore the art galleries showing Indian artists at their best.
