You will drive through towering Rocky Mountains along the renowned Icefield Parkway to Jasper and the relaxed elegance of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a woodland haven to savour. From here take the two day Rocky Mountaineer trip - sit in the GoldLeaf domed carriage as the scenery slips by, en route to Whistler - a truly memorable experience. Staying at the delightful Chateau Whistler, you can whet your appetite golfing, biking, hiking, canoeing and rafting, or simply relaxing in the spa. You will then be whisked by sea plane across to Victoria on Vancouver Island where you will arrive at the luxurious Fairmont Empress and your Harbourview room. Round off this trip of a lifetime in the vibrant city of Vancouver, where your Waterfront Deluxe room overlooks the harbour, Stanley Park and the mountains beyond.
Add to wishlistFly into Calgary Airport & collect your 4x4 to drive to your Lake Louise hotel. The village is in the valley and here you will find a small shopping mall and a couple of hotels. However, Lake Louise takes its name from the famous Lake with its impossible colour and surrounded by snow capped peaks. During your stay why not visit Banff and Moraine Lake, or go canoeing on the Lake.

An exciting day as you drive north along the famed Icefield Parkway. Do allow time to stop off at Peyto Lake and the Athabasca Glacier where you can take a trip on to the glacier in a Snowcoach. Whilst in Jasper do take the Jasper Tram and the Maligne Lake cruise to see the much photographed Spirit Island. Return your car hire to the Jasper depot on day 5.

Jasper to Quesnal
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Pass through the Rocky Mountain Trench, with the steep Rocky and Cariboo mountains either side, and on to the rolling hills and vast forests of British Columbia’s northern interior. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass and Moose Lake. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer passes through the town of Prince George and follows the Fraser River into Quesnel. Train departs on a Wednesday but we can alter the itinerary to take the Jasper –Vancouverroute which offers two more departures.

Quesnal to Whistler
Your journey continues south today to the four-season resort of Whistler. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon to the rolling hills and vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau, and the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley. Highlights include sweeping views of Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Your rail journey ends today on arrival in the resort town of Whistler, host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games alpine events.

Today take a coach to Vancouver harbour for your seaplane trip to Victoria's Inner Harbour - located right in the heart of downtown Victoria. Whilst in Victoria have afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress, visit the Butchart Gardens or take a whale-watching trip.
2 nights in Victoria.
Make your way to the Victoria Bus Depot to book your coach & ferry transfer over to Vancouver. Once you arrive into Vancouver you have plenty of time to explore. There is plenty to do in Vancouver; visit Canada Place, Robson Street, Chinatown and Gastown. Soak in the natural splendor of Stanley Park's Totem Poles and Prospect Point. Pass the West End high-rises and the beaches of English Bay on your way to vibrant Granville Island with its public market, shops, restaurants and galleries. Visit The Lookout to take the glass elevator to the 360° views.
3 nights in Vancouver.
Spend the morning at your leisure before making your own way to Vancouver Airport for your afternoon flight home.
