Fly to Toronto and on arrival make your own way downtown.  Visit impressive city landmarks such as the CN Tower or SkyDome, explore the harbour front district on foot or by boat, take in a world-class theatre production, or find a shopping bargain or two at the multi-level Eaton Centre.

Toronto to Niagara On The Lake

Pick up your hire car and drive the 2 hours to Niagara Falls. Make time to explore the falls and take a tour on the Maid of the Mist.  Drive to Niagara on the Lake, an historic and very pretty town.

Niagara On The Lake to Algonquin Park & Muskoka

Drive north through charming rural villages and the pine and granite landscape of the Muskoka region before arriving at the magical Arowhon Pines deep in the Algonquin Park.  All meals are included.  Spend the next few days enjoying the resort and Algonquin Park. The park is a beautiful wilderness where you might well see moose, black bear and if you are really lucky, hear the wolves howl. It is a wonderful place to see the autumn colours, for a gentle paddle along one of the many waterways or to hike one of the many trails.

Algonquin Park & Muskoka to Ottawa

Continue driving through Algonquin Park and onto Ottawa.  Take day 8 to enjoy the city. Take a stroll along the Rideau Canal, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and in winter becomes the world’s longest skating rink. Pass by the residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General, the Parliament buildings and visit the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Museum and Stables or the Museum of Civilisation.

Ottawa to Kingston

Drive to Kingston and spend the next couple of days exploring. Maybe take a daytrip and experience a 1000 Islands cruise.

Kingston to Toronto

Make your way back to Toronto airport, drop your car and take your flight back to the UK.
