This holiday gives you one of the best chances to see moose anywhere. Although moose are huge, they are surprisingly hard to see. Your accommodation will be a rustic cabin on the edge of a lake or river. During your time here you will visit the Moose Interpretation Centre, hike through a moose yard, visit the wet environment of a peat bog and kayak through tranquil waterways where moose are frequently seen feeding. This 2 night package can either be incorporated in a fly drive holiday or if time is short, you can fly from Montreal to Mont Joli from where it is a 45 minute drive.

Visit the Reserve's Interpretation Centre. You will learn a lot about the moose before you take the trail to explore their habitat acompanied by your knowledgeable guide. In the afternoon you will visit the peat bog and in the evening you should again see moose on the lake shore as you kayak past. You should be able to get quite close this way.
