Travel from cosmopolitan Toronto and the natural wonder of Niagara Falls to the national capital of Ottawa. Then, cross into Quebec and explore Montreal, the second largest French speaking city in the world. The route continues along the St. Lawrence River to the walled centre of Quebec City before turning inland to the Saguenay region. Traverse the rolling hills and dense forests of the Mauricie/Bois-Francs region en route to Trois Rivieres and Montreal.

Day1

Toronto

Arrive in Toronto. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the many attractions of this vibrant and culturally diverse city.

Day2

Toronto

A free day to explore all that Toronto has to offer from a spine tingling ride up the CN Tower, a great range of shopping at the Eaton Centre or a visit to one of the cities wonderful museums and galleries. 

Day3

Toronto to Niagara Falls

A full day excursion to the wonderous Niagara Falls. The route takes you along the Niagara Penninsula and the beautiful wine region with its rolling vineyards. Once at the Falls take the opportunity to get into the centre of the action on the Maid of the Mist boat (payable locally). Return to Toronto in the evening.

Day4

Toronto to Ottawa

Heading east along the picturesque Lake Ontario you will travel through the Thousand Islands region enroute to the national capital, Ottawa. Visit the Parliament building, take a stroll along the Rideau Canel or learn about Canada's Mounted Police at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Museum and Stables.

Day5

Ottawa to Montreal

You have time this morning to take a leisurely walk around Ottawa's picturesque downtown quarter before the short drive to Montreal, the second largest French speaking city in the world.

2 nights in Montreal.

Day6

Montreal

Get ready to explore this fascinating city of duelling cultures. From Old Montreal you can stroll along the port and indulge in exquisite cuisine, boutique shopping and a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral. If you are feeling energetic take a camera and walk up to the summit of Mont Royal Park for panoramic views of the city.

Day7

Montreal to Quebec City

The route will take you along the St Lawrence River to Quebec City - Canada's oldest city which has just celebrated its 400th anniversary.

2 nights in Quebec City.

Day8

Quebec City

Quebec City is the only walled city in North America and is an UNESCO World Heritage Site, a treasure trove of historic sights and colonial grandeur.

Day9

Quebec City to Saguenay

Again you'll be following the vast St Lawrence River heading further east to explore the Saguenay Region. Stop at Tadoussac for the opportunity to view whales before heading inland along the Lac Saint Jean to the town of Saguenay.

2 nights in Saguenay.

Day10

Saguenay to Lac Saint Jean

Today you have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Lac Saint Jean with its pretty villages, beautiful beaches and countless outdoor/water based activities.

Day11

Saguenay to Trois Rivieres

Navigate the rolling hills and dense forests of the Mauricie/Bois Francs region enroute to Trois Rivieres. Take the short drive to the community of Cap de la Madeleine which is home to Our Lady of the Cape, Canada's national shrine to the Virgin Mary.

1 night in Trois Rivieres.

Day12

Trois Rivieres to Montreal

Return to Montreal Airport for your return flight to the UK.
