The Hotel de Glace is just 10 minutes from Quebec City and is open from January 6th to March 25th. This amazing structure, built every year, offers you all the comfort you could possibly imagine in a magnificent building of ice and snow. The ceilings are up to 18 feet high, the walls are covered with artwork and the furniture is made out of blocks of ice. The Hotel de Glace has 36 rooms which vary from simple bedrooms to more exotic rooms with fire places and one that even has a spa! There is a chapel, a huge reception room with a functional fire place, and the famous Absolut Ice Bar. Please ask us about special events at the Ice Hotel; we can arrange weddings as well as parties - how about a stag night in the Absolut bar?

Arrive in Quebec City and transfer to your hotel. Your package will include a horse-drawn carriage tour (45 min.) of the walled city, the only one in North America, and dinner at the Café de la Terrasse Restaurant which is located in the famous Château Frontenac. Optional snowmobiling or dogsledding is available.

Before spending a night at the Hotel de Glace, you will be invited to attend a briefing by the guides. They will be happy to walk you through the unique experience of sleeping in an ice hotel and will tell you everything you need to know about the equipment available. All the beds have a solid ice base, with a wooden bedspring and mattress on top. When evening comes, a cozy arctic sleeping bag will be delivered to your room. The ambient bedroom temperature will remain between -3°C and -5°C, no matter the outside temperature. You will have time to enjoy the relaxation area with its outdoor spas and saunas, nearby you can go dogsledding, or don a pair of snow shoes to explore your surroundings.

Return to Quebec City in time to catch a train to Montreal and the overnight flight to London.
