An excellent high-speed taste of the Ontario winter wilderness. The exciting circle tour starts from Toronto, from where you will be driven to Kennesis Lake in Haliburton, pick up your snowmobile, travel up to Barry's Bay and down through Algonquin Park, passing through winding forest trails and zooming over lakes to Bancroft before transferring back to Toronto. Overnight accommodation is in local lodges or motels. This is an excellent trip to combine with either a resort stay or a visit to Toronto.

Toronto to Algonquin Park & Muskoka
Leave Toronto at 7:00 am and drive up to the beautiful Haliburton Highlands. This is the heart of Ontario's unspoiled "cottage country" so you will be treated to some gorgeous scenery. From the Haliburton Highlands start your journey into the wild! After suiting up with proper winter clothing, packing your saddle bags (you will carry your gear on your snowmobiles), and a safety lesson on snowmobiles, you will venture forth. The first day is an easy ride, to let everyone get accustomed to controlling their powerful snowmobiles. You will travel about 120 km to your first stop - Spectacle Lake Lodge in the Barry's Bay area. There is a hot tub here, so be sure to bring your bathing suits! The trail takes you through the only portion of Algonquin Park where snowmobiles are allowed. Since Algonquin Park is world famous as a "Wilderness Park", you have an excellent chance of seeing such wild animals as moose, deer, beaver, or even wolves! You will definitely pass by several beaver dams (now frozen over).

Algonquin Park & Muskoka to Bancroft
After a hearty breakfast start up your snowmobile and head south towards Bancroft. Your destination is the Black Forest Inn, just south of town. It is about a 150 km ride, taking 5-6 hours to complete. Along the way you will be following twisty forest trails - this is snowmobiling at it's best! You will pass beautiful lakes and small country villages, one of which you will stop at for a hot lunch.

Bancroft to Toronto
Today you will head west, back to Kennisis Lake. The trail is ever changing, so it is impossible to get bored! Stop along the way for lunch, before ending your snowmobile safari mid-afternoon. You should be back in Toronto by about 7 pm.

Make your way to the airport for your flight home, or transfer to connecting programme.
