On arrival in Vancouver Airport, head downtown to your selected hotel for three nights in the gorgeous city of Vancouver and the chance to explore Stanley Park, Gastown, Granville Island and Capilano Canyon to mention but a few.
3 nights Vancouver
Pick up your hire car and drive the stunning Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler for the next three nights. A host of activities here from gentle walks along the valley to heart stopping mountain biking and zip lining. Excellent golf, spoiling spas and lots of water sports plus the remarkable Peak to Peak lift complete the picture.
3 nights Whistler
Another beautiful drive, this time with the Pacific Ocean in your sights as you descend to Horseshoe Bay and the ferry across to Vancouver Island where you will drive across the Island to Tofino on the west coast for a further three nights. Here you can enjoy whale watching (this time for grey and humpback whales as well as sea lions and bald eagles); a visit to the Hot Springs and bear watching; some world class surfing; a walk along the boardwalks in the rain forest or along the wonderful beaches and explore the art galleries showing Indian artists at their best.
3 nights Tofino
Today on your fly drive holiday exploring British Columbia you will head south on Vancouver Island to Victoria. Be sure to visit Cathedral Grove where you must stop for a short walk amongst the towering first-growth Douglas Firs, Chemainus, known for its murals and Duncan, city of totems. Your two-night stay in British Columbia’s capital city should include a whale watching tour from the Inner Harbour to see the orca, a visit to the fascinating Royal British Columbia Museum with its innovative displays of First Nation and early Canadian artefacts and of course the world-famous Butchart Gardens
