Arrive at the Algonquin Log Cabin for lunch. Afternoon canoe instruction including how to paddle in close proximity to wildlife. Sauna, appetizers and dinner at the Algonquin Log Cabin followed by an evening slide show on Algonquin wildlife.

Breakfast and short transfer to "put in" of canoe route. Travel by canoe through lakes to base camp with lunch on the way. Afternoon and evening excursions to look for and photograph moose. Enjoy dinner in front of the campfire and fall asleep to the sound of loons and owls hooting across the lake.
Camping accommodation in Algonquin Park

Early morning canoe excursion with great opportunities to see and photograph moose, osprey, beavers, great blue herons and loons as well. Return for coffee and breakfast. Optional hike through mixed maple forest. Paddle back to the take out and a large smorgasbord lunch at the Canoe Outpost.

Includes: two nights accommodation (one night Algonquin Log Cabin and one night camping), tasty meals, all equipment (except sleeping bags - rentals are available), park permits, wildlife photography workshop, and services of a wilderness guide. Transfers from Toronto are also available for an extra fee.
