Arctic Explorer Fly Drive Through the Yukon Wilderness

7 nights

Travel to the Canadian Arctic by road as this trip takes you along the Klondike and Dempster Highways, from Whitehorse to Inuvik, an Inuit village 201 miles above the Arctic Circle in the Northwest Territories. This wilderness route cuts through two rugged mountain ranges where human settlements are few, the scenery is awe-inspiring and your destination rarely visited. Driving conditions can be difficult, but definitely worth the effort - especially in autumn when early morning frost sparkles on the deserted road, and you will be left in brilliant red meadows surrounded by desolate mountain peaks underneath a starry sky. The spirit of adventure will take you there, but the vastness and the sacredness of the land will remain with you forever.
